He's a grown man, not a child.

You are saying we should keep him I think, whilst also saying to do so would give us an issue with Connor, who is contracted. What course of action should the club take, bearing in mind Kelly's rumoured expensive wages?

Grown man or not, he may not react like a child but if hypothetically it was true you'd still be pretty peeved if it happened to you in the workplace.

I'd personally like to try and keep him if financially viable if he were to remain in this country.
He's by far our most potent attacking threat.

Do you go out of your way intentionally to be obtuse with certain posters? You know the point Bonaire is getting at.

Hull will be bringing in one or two players for next season according to Adam Pearson.
The club announced they had agreed with Jones to stay this season but i fully expect him to move on and should hopefully result in a reasonable fee.
I agree lots of things up in the air and Pearson will be keeping his fingers crossed that most passholders will renew and there are no restrictions on the number of spectators allowed in the ground

You're living in cloud cuckoo land if you think it's as simple as that.
No one will make the decision to allow unrestricted access to stadia in the near future.
Worldwide confirmed cases of Covid today is at an all time high (307,930).
Rimmer reckons RL in general is currently losing £2m income a week, it's not going to get any easier some time soon, and that money is pretty much gone for ever.
If you're like Wigan, with a recent £2.5m cash injection, then life may not be quite so difficult.
The rest of us are tottering on the brink. My humble opinion of course.

And don't forget Sky is reducing next year's payments by £250k (2 or 3 top class players).

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I was talking about next season and someone will have to make a decision about getting unrestricted access into Sports stadiums for 2021
Covid is really getting overblown now.Very few hospital cases and deaths.
We have to stop been afraid of it and get on with our lives like they are in Sweden

Sweden (a country with 55m fewer people, and twice the size of the uk) still has plenty of restrictions in place, I don't recollect them allowing unrestricted access to stadia, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, as long as Albert goes back to the NRL, we'll all give a sigh of relief.

EDIT:

but not to worry.

What if Radford said to Kelly that Connor, who we know received counselling in the off season, would benefit from a "vote of confidence" awarding of a lower squad number, but that the squad would be picked purely in form? As the senior player you'd take that for the greater good wouldn't you? A hypothetical scenario but no less hypothetical than others put forward repeatedly with no evidence or substance.

I agree and I would love to keep Kelly. But the reality is that Connor is contracted and Kelly isn't, and bonaire suggests they can't both happily coexist in the squad. He knows Kelly is expensive but berates the club's lack of ambition in a financially challenging environment. He knows Connor has great potential as a GB international and time on his side. So given his repeated trotting out of the shirt story I don't think it's unreasonable to ask what he would do. Otherwise whatever the club do can be portrayed negatively later on. Should have kept Kelly and cashed in on Connor if Kelly leaves. Should have kept Connor and binned expensive Kelly when Kelly's knee goes and Connor plays for GB at Leeds.
