To be fair, I don’t think Pearson cant afford not to make a change.
He needs members to keep being members, otherwise we’re finished.

It's the first time I've heard him speak sense.
Lots on here stated the same, but sentimentality has clouded the judgement of others.

If I was Last I'd be sitting down with my staff and Pearson and evaluating the playing roster alongside earned Salarys.
I'd be pin pointing players who Clarke said are satisfied/rarely in form/poor attitudes/always injured
The ones taking big chunks of cap up would be shown the door as well as those that rarely play due to injurys
We need to massivley improve cap efficiency

Satisfied that need to go and earn a big wage would be
Houghton. Hooker
Shaul. Fullback
Bowden bench prop

Ones that rarely play and earn a decent wage would be
Swift winger
matongo backup prop
Savelio loose forward/second row

Leaving any ways

The above would leave a ton of cap to play with and get he pivots right and some consistency and leadership
Give Johnstone the hooking role and bring in a young backup hooker to challeneg him
Cement Sao and Cator at looseforward
Connor to centre and Fonua to the wing outside him
Sign a commanding halfback who has a running game
Taylor and Satae starting props, Brown as one backup, then sign another line breaker with leadership
Sign a second Row who grafts with the Jones Fee/Wage
Do we go with Wynne at fullback or sign experiance?

I think your right. I think the enlightenment of fans recently to Houghton and Shauls shortcomings have made announcing their renewed deals very bad publicity so theyl wait and hope for an increase in their form

It's just another instance in baffling decision making, that's hindering our club.
A director of rugby or recruitment really wouldn't be a bad idea, as we seem to be bouncing from one bad decision to another
