..of the effort and spirit today. Given the Salford debacle, covid disruption for players, coaches and their families, significant lack of preparation, missing Taylor, Jones, Savelio, Bowden, Connor and losing Sneyd and Naulago I thought it was a spirited effort with much more intent in attack.
Pleased to see Last change up the options and the youngsters like Johnstone, Cator, Lane, Brown etc really rose to the challenge. OK Huddersfield weren't any great shakes but a performance to be proud of today.

Better team without Houghton on the pitch. Only taken two years and an interim coach under pressure to come to this conclusion.
ive always said fash isnt big enough and shouldnt be in the squad, but fair play to the lad put in a big effort today, same with lane, thought cator went really well, infact all the lads put a big effort in, johnstone derserves a run in the team to

Agreed though I’d say that whilst Huddersfield were missing a couple of players than make them tick I thought the improvement in our line speed in defence snuffed out Huddersfield. Thought Johnstone gave us so much more with his speed and distribution plus his clever kicks. Cator really showed up well along with Brown. Kelly & Carlos were pretty damn good today. The whole club deserve a lot of credit for the performance considering the last few weeks. Pleased Andy Last changed things and we saw big differences in the way we have played before.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

It was great to see numerous players putting kicks to the in goal, this part of our game has been missing for to long, well done Lasty.
A committed energetic performance, against a Huddersfield side which are as desperate for a win, after a few close defeats. Both teams had players missing, and we were forced to play our younger players, who showed their more esteemed big name players, who were not available, what can be achieved with honesty desire and heart,

Don’t like him, but think Phil Clarke pointed out that exact same thing, enthusiasm can be more important than talent, completely agree

As the saying goes, one swallow does not make a summer, but yes that was a much better first half then a fairly well managed second half especially considering the injuries
Defence is a concern for me, we still let the opposition run at us and gave them too many yards and we were holding on far too much when we dont need too
