Things have fallen nicely for Halifax here, realistically he wasn't going to get an offer from Fev with us already having Thomas Minns, local favourite Josh Hardcastle, and Kris Welham, who will be joining from Salford. Doubt he would have wanted another year in Lancashire and given where he's from Fax or Bradford were his likeliest destinations.
He's not a difference maker but he's an upgrade on Tyrer for sure, very solid in attack and defence and has been a fan favourite wherever he has gone. Just the numbers game would have made him surplus to requirements at Fev.
