Really ??
If the under 16's are so unlikely to pass on the virus, how come granny and gramps weren't allowed to see them or to look after them. It would have to be a very cruel government that prevented families meeting or helping with childcare if there was so little risk. And why is it that child care was shut down ?

My granddaughters child care hasn't been shut down neither has the childcare at the hospital where my daughter in law works.
The risk to older people is their own vulnerability - not sure we have many over 70s teachers - I could be wrong?
How many teachers have been infected due to teaching in those schools that were open through the early days of the pandemic?
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

It is possible for anyone to say anything is good to do this but always remember it is Johnson in charge and his planning can be somewhat nonexistent. We are still waiting for the care bill he said he had ready when first elected leader.
Just more political posturing from you, Johnson could find a cure himself and you'd have something negative to say.

Ad Hominem.
Johnson is a proven liar and coward. Unfortunately, he's also incompetent.
Despite this, i was originally prepared to give him and his government the benefit of the doubt but after a decent, albeit, late start, they have since been a shambles. How anyone expects parents and teachers not to feel apprehensive about the return to school is beyond me.

At least unlike you when I say something like I am leaving the forum I stick to it for longer than you which was about a day. I regret you are a prime example of what this country has become. I thought the greed of Thatcherism was bad but nothing compared to the lies of the current regime which will promise the world and provide nothing which currently results in far too many unnecessary deaths.

Greed of Thatcher? like, people owning their own hom, breaking the callous and hate filled Unions, standing up to Scargill and Kinnock?
Thatcher didn't start illegal wars, sell gold at records lows, cause mass unemployment. Even the poll tax was fair, just the lunatic left didn't want to pay it.
Yet again, you have derailed a thread because of your whippet and flat cap mentality.

Go back to watch until death us do part Alf. Socialism has been proven to fail, we have a government managing a GLOBAL CRISIS and all you can do is spout hate filled politics. I assume you are an ex miner or some such, because nobody in their right mind is quite as bitter as you. Have you ever even been abroad?
You do realise that was a television programme and not real life and bless you think they are handling the pandemic well. The TV got it correct today when they said Johnson is doing another photo opportunity sporting an hard hat. I wonder if he owns his own PM hard hat on they supply him with one.

Oh yes, I know, but it is also a reflection of you. They are doing their best, but that will never be good enough for you. As I say, a bit of a sad old man stuck in Crapper & Sons Carry on film days.
fed up of the hard of thinking, it seems RLFans has become a home for the elderly and infirm.
