I know Mark Campbell very well as a friend and former employer of mine and he is a master at taking advantage of situations so there is no negative for me in seeing Fev build an excellent working relationship with Leeds in order to improve the club.
We are about to hit an economic storm, it is essential that all options are explored in order to ensure the stability of all clubs. Mark and Davide have worked wonders ensuring they are in a settled position and the Broncos intend to do the same for the long term future of Rugby League in London. That could, potentially, mean part time at some point in the future, who knows.
ML you obviously have a soft spot for Featherstone, fair enough, me less so.
Whichever way LB go as long as the vision is shared for the short and medium term would help the fans buy into something. You cite York and Featherstone they have a vision, as does Beaumont and Kear. Our vision, currently is a secret.

Those are kind words. A lot of Fev fans just get frustrated when fans of other clubs throw up the same thing about being another small Yorkshire town etc without realising that the club has made great strides in recent years and actually is a lot closer to long-term self-sufficiency than many current SL clubs.

Hopefully not for long!!
Things are going to take time. Announcements are going to be potentially staggered, diluting the excitement, who knows. All I can say at the moment is that we are trying to get something over the line which would be an absolute game changer for the club and the fans. There are a number of smaller changes which I believe will be well received and some much bigger news which is 'potential' at this stage I'm afraid and taking far longer than we hoped to sort out.
This is not a deliberate attempt to sell tickets, there are none on sale. It is not serving any purpose other than me asking fans to understand that we are working very hard on some things which if they all come off as expected will give you all a lot of joy. It is also not an attempt just to keep you all content, that is not my style, if we were sat on our backsides watching netflix I would tell you.

They have never played in the top flight in the last few decades. The are based slap bang in the middle of 'heartlands' and probably find it easy to attract players from East and West. They do however have fabulous passionate support and their own ground. I highly doubt we would attract the standard of player to get us into SL on a part time gig - the likes of Ferres and Hall, etc would not come down here. Paint it however you wish but PT or a variance of it, in my eyes, says mediocrity for the near short and medium term.
I've had contact from a friend who reports League Express has been sniffing around this story.
Two weeks ago they apparently said Broncos were mulling over the pro/semi pro issue and it may come down to the results of talks with the RFL about whether the club get a second parachute payment. (Presumably on the grounds promotion was scrapped.)
This week they are apparently reporting Broncos are offering players to other clubs. I'm not sure whether it is list of players who may be available or who are available.
We have always - always - struggled to get players to move down to London. Even when we were in SL. Even when we had a very good team in SL. Often enough players that did move would quickly return home complaining about missing their mum. And even when we did bring guys down we had to pay over the odds to get them - Oliver Wilkes got a big pay rise and he was little more than a solid grafter.
Any good Championship players who are part time are going to choose Leigh, Fev, Fax and York over relocating to one of the world's most expensive cities. History is very clear on that.
If we can't afford a full-time squad then we can't afford one, no shame in that, but to pretend that it's a positive decision or that it's all going to be hunky-dory is to ignore the evidence.

Hmm, if he means the story in League Express then that misrepresents the story, All that I saw was a piece with Danny Ward where he said he wouldn't stand in the way of any of his players who were offered a short-term loan deal by a SL club for the rest of this season.
