A fit in form Bowden is as good as anything else we have imo, always seems to start a season really well, so hopefully will in this reboot, excited now, I think I might be expecting to much haha hard not to looking at our squad

Last i hope will have learned from Radfords mistake.
My take on it will be we may see Connor at Full back sometime in the game and allow Shaul to move up field.

You say it like it’s football, like shaul plays centre half and we’ll put him up centre forward for a bit, surely fb is 1 if not the most attacking position on the pitch?

It wont be the first time professional football centre halfs have been used at centre forward but you are probably right about the full back position in R/L.Problem is Shaul doesnt score enough tries from full back nor does he create enough from attacking plays.
In this new type of R/L Shauls strength will be fast running from dummy half and backing up breaks and offloads from further up the field.
Just my opinion but we will see how it pans out in the coming weeks.
It also solves a centre selection problem having Connor on the bench,

Sorry to burst the positive bubble but i dont expect a lot to change. Last isnt gonna come out as a completely different coach to Radford as Radford, Gentle and Agar are his last three mentors - quite frankly our history of promoting inexperienced assistants has on the whole failed miserably and i see nothing different here

I want hime to become the best coach weve ever had but i see no chance of that happening
