Aye, it's a good, balanced email and offer from the club.
Monkey - I know we had words once or twice on this forum in the past but I think the tone of your posts has changed markedly since taking on a more formal role within the clubs and consequently the flow of information has improved too. So thanks for that. Looking forward to the announcement.
We have 3 gold tickets (two normal, and one Senior). We went for option 2, as I dont really have any appetite for a pointless cup which I cannot see London entering into, but I also feel that we will have a better shot at promotion next year if we don't ask the club to refund tickets, so option 2 was better. I'd have liked maybe more guest passes to games or maybe a free upgrade to the hospitatily for one or two matches if your a gold ST holder, but if we want the club to be strong in 2021 this to me was best option.
I also have lost my Job owing to covid, so the money back would have helped, but I am optmistic about getting another job in next few months, and I really hope Broncos give promotion a shot next year.
I agree with the post above. I have been a vocal "moaner" about the club (although I do stand by what I have said), however, of late I do think the communication has improved and despite the worry I constantly have for the Broncos future, the above sounds encouraging.

Appreciated mate. In hindsight I should have respected people's opinions on David a bit more but as his friend and a long term sponsor before taking this rule I used to get wound up with the constant criticism of a bloke who has chucked enough money to buy himself a small Island into the club to try and give them entertainment!
The obvious issues I could see when I came into a formal role were that the club has clearly not communicated with the supporters well for many years and that was easy to change. We have implemented changes quickly when I first got in which have been well received but the real differences will start to be noticed soon but there is one underlying thing fans have to remember, we are approachable and happy to listen to opinion but ultimately any decision we make has a reason behind it that is either to ensure financial stability or improve performance of the club on and off the field. Nobody would do something out of spite which is actually what one fan has accused me of by not offering more options for those supporters who pay more for their season ticket than others.
Legally, no refund would have been required, morally should we offer our fans something back, absolutely. Should we be honest that we cant really afford to refund everyone, of course. Do we owe people a bigger thank you than just words for writing off their money, definately. Here is a shirt, if you don't want that either then that is also a massive help and please tick option 1.
If anyone thinks they can make a difference then email me or call me. I will discuss ideas with anyone.

That is a massive gesture and one we really appreciate what you have done. Administration wise, and with other factors in play, we simply could not offer a wide variety of options so have tried to be as fair as possible to people as well as being honest.

You have every right to moan, please moan at me, if they are opinions with valid substance then we can try and find ways to improve things.
Even the biggest clubs in the World such as Manchester United have spilt fan bases and fans that dislike the actions of the club. We are in a lucky position that I can actually speak with every season ticket holder for 10 minutes in a week at the moment so I'm all ears

I agree that communication has improved and is currently more open than it has been in the past. One thing that may also help is communication of the clubs high level plan for the next few years. In addition to the Broncos, I also go and watch London Welsh and after a period of difficulty they are succesfully working to a 5 year plan which has been a good way of setting out priorities for all aspects of the club. Supporters are clear on the club's ambitions and get to understand more about the overall thinking, how different elements of the club are important and potentially where they can help.

If things go to plan we will be releasing information in the coming 2/3 weeks that will make clear the intentions and plans for the club and following that my hope is that we can continue with the transparency for the fans.
One idea already on the table is a fans liason group who will of course be able to bring their concerns to us.
I say 'if things go to plan' because as with anything in life delays and problems arise but what I can say is there is an awful lot to be positive about and hopefully news that most fans will take as very exciting.
Thanks ML. I would say my moans were more out of frustration for the exact reasons mentioned above. Where are the club going, how do we plan to get there. For too long we have just seemed to be meandering along to a slow painful death. Onwards and upwards
