The devil will be in the detail. All we know at present is that IL (not Wigan RL club) along with 2 other Wiganers are heading up a potential bid for Wigan Athletic & presumably the stadium company.
According to the administrators there are 30 potential suitors, whether that’s 30 groups or 30 individuals making up a lesser number of groups is unknown.
Should IL & the consortium be successful I don’t foresee too much changing from the rugby clubs perspective other than having slightly more influence into decisions made by the stadium company, I doubt very much IL will be the majority share holder.

I doubt there will be anything like 30 bids at the end of the day,who really would buy a broke championship side that by the looks of it could end up not owning their own ground, if IL is successful I agree I think he will be he public face of the bid leaving others to take a major shareholding in the company,if they end up with the stadium for me it’s important that the rugby side of it gets parity with the football side of things.
No more being thrown out for a couple of months through the summer,no other sides do this who share stadiums as far as I know so get that sorted quick smart because while many blame the trophy laden Wane years to blame for falling attendances to me it’s that every summer we fans get kicked out of our own stadium, you wonder why people get turned off by it.

Huddersfield had to move to Halifax for some games, and I think Hull took a game or two to Doncaster (not 100% sure on that part)

The pitch - Given proper care and attention, which may be an issue as per what I told you yesterday - is no longer the issue it was All the relevant drainage etc. is sorted and resolved and in reality the 8 week period missing isn't required as much now
But
Seeing as regular income into the stadium will be far more important under whatever structure they decide to set up then Concerts etc. may need to be factored in, and unfortunately for us as a Summer sport it may continue to affect us or be required in the future. Nature of the beast
