Five Super League clubs have applied to host games when the season restarts - Leeds, St Helens, Warrington, Huddersfield and Salford.

Im assuming the rfl will cover travelling costs! Did read Taylor was against playing at neutral grounds past Leeds

His reasoning was that most other teams (other than KR) are only an hour from their home grounds to other grounds, which is a half decent reason BUT not really a huge issue as it only affects 2 out of the UK based clubs, St Helens is the farthest away, but that is only 120 miles. It depends on the format, are we playing multiple fixtures at one venue over a few days, or multiple fixtures at different venues in the same week etc.?

SL is in 3 distinct 'clumps' in the UK, the Lancashire set of Saints,Warrington, Wigan and Salford, The Yorkshire set of Huddersfield, Leeds, Castleford, Wakefield, then us and KR in Hull, we can't play all our games in Leeds, that is for sure.

What we, and the Council should be is asking why FC or KR haven't put their hat in the ring (if they haven't), especially KR as they have lost revenue from concerts etc.

Doesnt sound like they have put the Hull clubs forward.
If we are going to have only one Yorkshire venue then why cant Doncaster be included?

It reads to me that only certain venue's put themselves forward, to the RFL or SL picking and choosing?

I'd imagine Mr Allam would have priced himself out of the market.

Indeed, and I suspect it will be Leeds, Huddersfield, Salford and Saints that get the nod, depends on the format.

catalans pushing for home games now....certainly puts a unfair balance on the format if they get them.....SL need to replace the word 'neutral' because it definitely wont be if this happens

When we finally get back underway, surely the rfl will have introduced the set restart rule, the nrl have implemented
