Well I have been around a long time but I think communication has improved lately and feel reasonably confident the club are doing the right things in a difficult situation.

Firstly, the RFL have made no decision on this so no, we cant train.
Correct. As I said in my posting.
Secondly, until Monday we cant even get together in groups of 6 to train without causing problems for ourselves.
Incorrect. Check the government statement on the 25th. Elite sportsmen are exempted from the groups of 6 with 2m FOR TECHNICAL TRAINING. This can only commence after the RFL sign off. The recommendation is you build up. The six rule dies not apply to elite sportsmen. Social distancing still applies for non technical training .

I for one think it is good news a club representative comes on here and offers some update on club matters. Its never (?) happened before. So, lets cut him some slack.

Cheers Mate.
I think it is fairly evident why the club have been reluctant to engage. No matter what is attempted by a series of staff in my role and other roles there are some that refuse to move on and draw a line. I'm making an effort to draw a line in the sand and ensure that regardless of what the club did before I arrived, whatever David did with his money, whatever Gus did, we now move forward together with better communication, better fan involvement and make the club a better thing for everyone.
I'd like to think we are already making progress and making changes for the better with things we are doing and stuff set to be announced shortly which are not only giving the fans some news and enjoyment but also generating the club some revenue in areas it has struggled previously. It is all going to take time but one thing we have at the Broncos is a good bunch of loyal fans, and hopefully you will all see the changes are positives.

Looking forward then to agreeing a "constructive engagement" process with the LBSA; over 300 of those loyal fans who have worked tirelessly since 2014 to promote the Club, respect our history and support our Academy, and raise thousands in conjunction with the Club in support of CALM through the John Sullivan Trophy.

I would love to have been able to report some good news but at the moment there is nothing to say. However, rather than just stay silent and be accused of not updating the fans, I updated them with what little bit of info I could to reassure them that once we know something they will be the first to know.
Don't bite James you are in a lose lose situation. I think the majority appreciate the contact so Thank you.

We look forward to a new era, and the club moving forward with the fans.
