In my view, anyone who "claps for carers" or gets all dewy-eyed when they talk about "our" NHS - but who also voted Tory - is a hypocrite of the highest order; it's important to remember I feel, that this is the same Tory party which has systematically and deliberately underfunded the NHS for 10 years - and broke out in cheers when they successfully blocked the lifting of the cap on nurses pay.

I expect most carers would rather you stayed indoors and gave that some thought, than stand on your doorstep banging on a saucepan in a demented attempt to assuage your guilty conscience.

Agreed, I actually turned the tv down last Thursday to see if the nutters were actually all out giving it big licks.

The NHS is but one factor in the whole mixed economy - those that voted Tory voted for what was included in their manifesto which did include higher spending on the NHS - so far the Tories couldn't have done much more in that respect in this parliament - what has happened in the past is irrelevant tbh.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Absolute nonsense.
You are very quick to forgive any faults with Bojo and his cronies - i'm most definitely not.
We'll see his true colours when the dust starts to settle and the inevitable squeeze hit's all public finances.
We'll all no doubt be "in it together", with MP's still taking their index linked pay rises, while the rest of the public servants are once again squeezed and forgotten.

The double standards form your beloved party make me bloody sick and hypocrite is the perfect word to describe the Tories new found love for the NHS and it's staff.

We must agree to differ - everybody said this was a Brexit election - Labour tried countless times to point out the Tories failings on the NHS - most people either didn't believe Corbyn - easily done - believed the Tories had made the best given what they inherited or Brexit so was so important that nothing else really mattered.

I am not forgiving Boris - he has only been leader for a few months, along with Brexit his major promise was increased spending on the NHS so to say he does care is harsh and doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

The Chancellor is already telling us what is going to happen - we will all pay more taxes - austerity isn't an option as you well know. Will the Tories spend like Labour would have done - not a chance but there is no way the spending promises on the NHS will not be honoured.

Nothing wrong with keeping your friends and No1 global economy on side. If that means talking titties then so be it.
