UK Universities should run degrees in Venezuelan studies. The UK would have a full intake ready to enroll. Although it's highly unlikely that any would graduate with anything higher than a third, because "Corbyn wants the UK to be like Venezuela, the Daily Mail said so" would be a pretty poor basis for their dissertations.

What does it matter where it is. It's a failed ideology that UK don't want as Jezza found out.

Cheers lads that's very humbling. We are all in this together, I don't feel in anyway special just getting my head down and getting stuck in as there are many many people doing lots of different stuff to help this country through.

I hope that you feel proud, Tory boy.
The government that you support and act as head cheerleader for, froze the wages of the NHS hero's for almost a decade but, have the bare faced hypocritical cheek to stand outside and applaud, every Thursday.
They should have been properly paid through the austerity period and properly equipped to do their fecking jobs and not fed lies about equipment, while still doing far more than they are being paid for.

People like myself (and Bren) were telling you this for soooooooooooo long and idiots like you accused of being "lefties" or "commies"etc.

Perhaps you will, at some point, begin to realise just which people are worth paying properly and investing in and protecting.

A big clue for you, it's not the likes of Mike Ashley or Richard Branson who are interested only in themselves

Envy poliitcs, people like you and bren have been spouting proven defunct idealoogy, and continue to do so. But it's OK, you keep calling me an idiot if it helps you while away those boring lonely days of a spiteful existence. I don't know what hand life dealt you, but it sure must have been a pretty naff one given your constant negativity.

stay safe

Not certain your father in-laws geographical ignorance has any bearing on the subject. Nobody would have taken any notice whatsoever about Venezuela it was the left wing brigade in England that was always trumpeting the success of the country.Venezuela was at onetime the most prosperous country in South America. Lauded by all the left wing chattering class in England as to the model that successfull socialism brings. Then the socialist policies slowly but surely brought the country to its knees. Once that situation arises the educated , upper and middle class flee the country, taking with them what little money they have left. The working or non working class are left to pick up the pieces. These are the one section of the community that socialism is supposed to support. You would have to have a heart of stone not to laugh at the comments by ash sagar the champagne so called communist, along with Owen Jones. Apparently most of the country’s that have tried socialism and failed have been using the wrong sort of socialism. A gentle reminder to you that Corbyn and his momentum cronies ,put socialism as the main part of the labour manifesto at the recent general election . That didn’t go very well did it?

What's this obsession with 'envy' you have? You've got nothing to offer, so you just spout your envy nonsense in the hope it wins the argument. There's nothing envious about wanting properly funded, fully functional public services. Enjoy your masters' herd immunity and their lean NHS. And keep doffing your cap.

I was just using him as an example. I've been there when he's been talking about Corbyn and Venezuela, but he didn't even know where the country was.

It's like when you see @BigShagger69 tweeting about Venezuela, with his profile picture set of him vomitting in a Newcastle pub toilet, as if he's in the know about all things South American. They're just spouting whatever the tabloids have fed them.
