Runcorn Highfield moved into St Helens in 1990, quickly changed their name to Highfield, and played at St Helens Town AFC's ground Houghton Road until 1993. Another stadium which hosted RL that has now long gone.

The “oval ground” is still going in some respects. It’s an athletics track with a grass pitch in the middle that the council will allow to be used for rugby as long as you grovel. The other pitches on Stanley park for rugby were removed by the council 2-3 years ago so Blackpool Stanley had to move a Mile away to kingscote park Instead.
