Wire fan here who spent a lot of time travelling around watching RL in the 90s, home and away.
I am researching/putting together a book of Memories of Wilderspool, but someone suggested I expand it (if I can) to cover some of the other grounds we all have fond memories of, that held such an important place in our communities, now unfortunately lost to the bulldozers and property developers.
I'd be particularly interested in hearing from fans of Leigh, Sheffield Eagles, Oldham, Halifax, Salford, Widnes, Wigan, Hull FC and Saints* as I have great memories of travelling to these grounds back then, but of course any contributions from fans of any team would be valued. *Actually, not such 'great' memories as we always took a thrashing there
Please message me or reply if you are interested in being interviewed (Skype/Zoom/email of course), or having some of your memories recorded for posterity.

I haven't seen it. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have a second-hand copy of 'I Wouldn't Start from Here!: Travelling Supporters Guide to British Rugby League Grounds' by Lush, Peter ordered but it hasn't arrived yet.
My Dad would probably be interested in this (Trinity fan for 6 decades). He's 75, so currently in isolation, but it might give him something to do! He's not tech minded but he might be able to write some notes which I can forward on. I'll send my mum a text.

That would be absolutely great!
I am focusing on the memories of the grounds, the matchday experience and how important the matchday ritual is to the people of the local community, rather than specific games or legendary players (which are well documented elsewhere).
If I include any contributions from people, I will of course properly quote/cite them.
I absolutely loved Central Park, probably one of my favourite sports grounds I've ever been to.
I remember winning 11-4 there with a Rob Myler length of the field try, 1992-93 season when we looked to be heading for relegation and no-one, not even me, gave us a chance. Remember being in my uncle's car driving up, we were all expecting an absolute hiding from that brilliant Wigan side.
Always loved going to Central Park, we stood or sat in various places, often amongst Wiganers, and the people were always great.

Completely off topic, but WHY WHY WHY is everyone saying that SL is 25 years old this year?? It isn't, it's 24. It's the 25th season of SL but it's still only 24 years old and it's getting right on my unmentionables!!
Rant over.
