I think we probably could afford that hit. Clubs lower down couldn’t and it’s those who will be fearing the impact

While I applaud the sentiment I get the feeling,if this does drag on then will be asking for a refund as times are going to get tight for most people.
What I suspect may happen there will be some sort of “make up”scheme, half price season rickets for next season, something like that,I doubt the club would do nothing loyalty is a two way street after all

The statement did infer that 3rd April we will hear what the RFL/SL have in mind for the future of the 2020 season. I do hope that they can replicate today's statement by the soccer authorities that they intend completing the season's fixtures to maintain the competition's integrity. We would then be able to enjoy the rest of the season.

I think they will personally and we will end up with a shortened pre season. Just hope the ashes survives

Boris' statement last night has snuffed out the last hope there was of anything being played for at least the next 3 weeks - probably until June at the earliest.

Hopefully, the latest firmer restrictions will do the trick in ‘breaking the back of the virus’ in around 12 weeks. However, I have heard from an old acquaintance, who shall we say is well connected, that the Government were advised to indicate that time scale on purpose due to psychological reasons. The human mind will accept three months as reasonable and easy to digest. In reality, the Government are working on a much longer period of time but do not wish to say so at this stage. In practice, we will get 12 weeks down the line and then the Government will simply extend it. I sincerely hope my old friend’s tale is off the mark or we could end up with a bigger problem than currently envisaged.
