Feel for all those booked for Toronto and Catalans too. Health must come first though.
If I’m honest I can’t see any sport resuming until September. Personally I think SL will just be wrote off for this season. A winter season will severely affected the following seasons.
There’s a risk of a few things here, financial being one. Interest in RL sustaining in Toronto, London etc another. If all clubs make it through this whole I’ll be astounded. We’re probably about to see a significant change in the sporting landscape.
Just on a side note; I wish you all and your families well during this pandemic. Fingers crossed for a swift recovery if anyone contracts it.

I do feel for those that have made travelling plans, but I am very much in the 'there will be much more important things to think about than professional sport' camp. Sadly.

Would be interesting to know how many of those who are predicting so much doom and gloom about Rugby League not being played again for months are also doing all the panic buying in stores and supermarkets which I might add is not helping the many elderly people who are going along to stores and supermarkets only to find shelves empty of essential food they need but cannot get because of the greed by the more able body people.
Hate to think how many today would have survived in a war like our parents and grandparents did in the second world war and the ten years or so after when there was food rationing.
The hysteria, panic and selfishness being shown by many in the country now is appalling, but comes as no surprise the way way the media are reporting the situation.

Of course there’s a lot of hysteria and the press love it,but I don’t think there’s any hysterics attached to the (amateur) forecast of a mid summer re start for the game will be far off though.
So far already I’ve had 4 concerts and 5 trips to the theatre which I had planned for the next couple of months reschedule on me till the autumn,so I just don’t see sport starting till July/august at the earliest based on that.

With all due respect, the elderly have 40 hours through the week where everyone is at work when they can shop, they get first dibs IMO.
Most old people have pantries anyway full of food as a hangover from the war, my grandparents did.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

To be fair, I’ve found the people who complain about panic buying are the ones who actually panic buy. Just sayin
