On RL, I reckon the early April best case restart is unlikely to say the least.

Not demanding refunds (sponsors or fans), maybe?
Are Sky obliged to keep paying? Be interesting to know how many subscribers Sky sports is losing.

He didn't give specifics with regards to fans but Sky was mentioned and said at some point they need a product to show on TV. That wasn't just aimed at RL but all sports that rely on Sky.

My thoughts would be a deal with sky that if we play behind closed doors maybe they could give clubs a financial consideration, i mean the other night cas v saints never seen so much advertising as it was only sport aound.
Could be a great time to really grow our sport if w could get some games on.

From what I hear, its the threat of sponsors pulling back their money, demanding refunds as they wont be getting TV exposure or advertising. SKY potentially pulling money due to no games to show. Its going to be a tricky few weeks.
I had a thought that if every passholder donated 20quid, then that could be upto 160k - which could be vital towards the survival of the club

we'd be better off donating 20 quid to a hardship fund for those on zero hours contracts that wont get SSP and the Self Employed. When it comes to it, sports clubs are right down towards the bottom of the priority list.

Great idea. And minimal in the context of what most would have spent over this time on matchday food/drinks/parking/transport not to mention away games. We are a club after all, not a purely transactional business.

are you proposing a collection for all the concourse staff, stewards etc. that will not get paid at all if they don't work?
