Missed the drama last night, I've just watched the interview, thought is was a good one to be fair, very honest, heart of the sleeve from a man who is very passionate about the club. I think it's obvious he didn't want to do it, but he knew he has to with his pre season statements.

Want to thank Lee for all his work, you cannot deny that he loved the club and put his heart and soul into this job, just cannot take the club any further, unable to improve players and making the same mistakes IMO.

Need a strong character (Who can take some tough decisions) and someone who likes play some rugby to utilise our strengths.

It was time for a change , just surprised Pearson has done it and this early . Just hope we get the right appointment now , because they is potential with this squad .

I hope not, I'd hate to lose 14 in a row and get walloped 100-0.
2 CC aside what really over his tenure did he achieve?
Inconsistent error strewn, 1 dimensional rugby predominantly.

He's gone, get over it, we move on.
The new guy may or may not be better but 1 thing for sure a new guy will bring optimism and galvanise a crumbling fan base.

I can’t believe those who are backing the way Pearson did that! Never had a great deal of respect for him since the Huddersfield debacle but this leaves him with zero.
To do it like that without preparing, without allowing a coach who has won the club silverware the dignity of leaving the stadium before announcing it on live tv is a joke. He admitted in the interview the players didn’t even know!
He could have just come out and said, radford had a lot to discuss was in the changing room and he was doing the interview in his stead. Then announced the next day.
Showed a lack of respect to the man for me. and a lack of respect to the players. Top prospective applicants who have other choices will view the way that was done. They will be thinking I don’t want to work for such a *****
Twitter is full of players, ex players, coaches and rugby support staff commenting on it being wrong.
Next Thursday will be interesting!!!

Apart from silverware? Surely that's the primary aim of any head coach. I'll be delighted when the new coach exceeds Radford's tally, that's for sure.
Is the fanbase "crumbling"? I thought numbers had held up OK but I could be mistaken.

People saying why would anyone work for AP

Maybe they wouldn’t mind working for an owner who backed his coach through record breaking defeats and losing runs?

I don't agree, I think as fans we deserved to know, it would have got out anyway.

I don't think there is a person in the city who respects Radford more than Pearson, he has backed him so much over the last few years, I honestley don't think he wanted to do it at all, but the fans pressure and risk of losing money has pushed him into this, which I think is the right one.

Not sure why fans of other clubs are getting so worked up about this one.

Expect a respond on Thursday to be honest, although getting a few bodies back in Sao and Ma'u will help that.

What is the issue? AP & LR had a discussion at the very end of the game and decided to part ways immediately. He then is asked by SKY to do an interview and he clearly is emotional about parting ways with a Coach he has backed continually and clearly not a decision he wanted to have to make.
LR had plenty of time while to tell the players while AP was doing the interview. Its laughable to say he was sacked live on tv as even when you watch the interview AP states clearly that he and LR had spoken agreed to part ways.

Why would waiting until the morning make any difference when they had both agreed to part ways? Do you think Lee, the players or AP are going to feel any better for waiting before any announcement.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
