21 man for squad Salford away Friday.
1 Zak Hardaker 2 Liam Marshall 3 Chris Hankinson 5 Joe Burgess 6 Bevan French 7 Tommy Leuluai 9 Sam Powell 10 George Burgess 11 Willie Isa 12 Liam Farrell 16 Morgan Smithies 19 Joe Bullock 20 Liam Byrne 21 Dom Manfredi 22 Mitch Clark 23 Jake Bibby 28 Harry Smith 30 Ethan Havard 31 Jackson Hastings 36 James McDonnell 37 Harry Rushton
Have a feeling we might struggle a bit in this one. Salford despite their struggles look to have an almost fully fit squad and are strong up front.
I wonder if Lam will include Harry Rushton on the bench to cover the back row. Previously there was the option of moving Partington wider if one of the back rowers went down.

Good squad and more than capable of getting the win at Salford. It’ll be a hard fought game IMO a good test of mettle and character.
Just in a side note I am pleased Lam is blooding youngsters in. I don’t expect McDonnell or Rushton to play at the weekend but it’ll be a good experience being in and around the first team. I must admit I don’t know much about either of them.
Burgess, Bibby and the two youngsters to miss out for me. Good experience for the two young lads to be around the first team squad though. Hopefully we’ll be able to get both of those a game at some point though but Friday doesn’t look the time.
Salford will be fired up for this and will want to get one over Hastings.

I can't see him leaving Bibby out against his former club (even though he did with Clark against Cas). I agree Hank should be in after Bibby's performance on Sunday. The number of times he shot out of the line in defence leaving Marshall exposed was ridiculous. Once, maybe, but learn from your mistakes after that. To keep repeating the same error is not good enough. What is it they say about the definition of madness?
Away from home we shall have to watch the disciplinary aspect as we will probably end up the wrong side of the pen count. We have Child in charge so will have to be careful.
Hopefully Lam will give Smith a start and his kicking game can put us well into Salford's half when they start their sets. Keep them in their half and under pressure which hopefully can allow us to get ahead and stay there.
