Holmes did well at SO but I understand that’s not where he’s earmarked to play.

This for me.

Strong squad named, looking forward to a midweek game, fingers crossed the weather improves.

I hope the fans turn up, I fear there will be less than 1000 which would be an embarrassment, and a shame for the club given the work they seem to be doing behind the scenes at the moment .

On paper it’s two very evenly matched teams...

In fact with two marquee players in SBW and Leutele plus McCrone, Lussick and Gigot Toronto should be at least even in the betting not getting a 20pts start.

I’m bringing four workmates from York £15 each in the directors box ideal first match for them apart from the attendance.

But hopefully 2,000 or watch some boards go into meltdown with how bad we are. Maybe a couple of hundred will fly in from a Toronto to help :D :D

An utterly useless clueless embarrassment.

One of The worst performances I have ever seen.
No idea in attack no shape no clue how to go anywhere near scoring.
Sezar looked an absolute waste of space and Gavet possibly even worse.

A few players did okay but they were in a very big minority

Beaten by a bunch of championship level rejects

where the hell did that come from, they looked like the wanted to be out of the cup from the kick off, the amount of times we dropped the ball in our own half was inexcusable there is no defence for what they put on toninght none at all another embarrassing awful home display

Absolutely bang on, we were lucky to get nil, That was as bad as anything we have dished up in the last three dismal seasons and they wonder why our crowds don't improve. Got soaked through getting back to the car and all to watch a load of tripe like that, It will be a week or two before i consider going down again
.
For anyone who didn't go tonight, you were lucky, It was like watching a training match with only one side bothered about being there, Even Sezer was just going through the motions, we wouldn't have scored if we would have had a ball each, A truly abysmal performance .

Forget the home game last season when Ken showed his disgust at the teams performance - but it cant really have been worse than that!
Think they`d been out on the razzle since beating Saints and probably a good thing that attendance was limited or some wouldnt return this season
Still--- director of bus company whIch I booked for Wembley says I can have deposit back Faraway !!

First of all ‘well done Toronto’ came with a plan executed it very well. One of my colleagues who was watching RL for the first time summed it up they had a plan you did not.

From the end of the first set where Sam Wood got needlessly trapped in goal you knew it wasn’t gonna be ‘our night.’

I could go on about the largely powder puff pack, or disorganised backline in detail but what hurt most was the lack of passion as we really looked like we didn’t want to be there. They we’re collectively not ‘up for t’cup.’

It was obvious 20 minutes in that with both Holmes and Russell on the field it wasn’t working the pass timing was lacking forwards trying to run onto the ball at speed having to stop as the pass wasn’t where it should have been.

The game was gone when SW introduced O’Brien, when it was obvious things needed changing. McCrone could have worn a white ‘tux’ and not needed it, our line speed was so slow, face it we were ‘bossed’ start to finish.

Well hopefully after SW gives them some more time off it’s on to Hull and better things, but boy was Joe Wardle missed last night although on hindsight most of our 17 were missiing too......
