People still had young children 15 years ago when we played on Sunday nights! :CRAZY:

But it was Bullmania then sucessful team and lots going so it want an issue. Now its down at Dewsbury in the Championship its too late to play .

I don't remember late Sunday slots. We had the Friday 8pm & Sat 6pm slots (both sky), then the usual 3pm Sunday. Our televised slots seemed to be more Friday than Saturday which was a shame as a curry after a Saturday evening game went down well.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.

With our young fan base now you aren't going to see many who have watched us play late nights too.

Sorry about that. I now realise the error of my ways and fully understand that the club should be considering how the change of kick off time effects you directly, even when they have no actual say over it whatsoever!!!

As someone who regularly travelled from Scotland for over 5yrs to watch games I should really have asked the club to have considered me in their plans and asked for a 12noon kick off... silly me :DOH:

Yes that is true as we never attracted any children whatsoever in those days so it became irrelevent.

Well the attendance was down 900 on the Featherstone game so take away 200 fans easily cost the club 10k+ what's more important to a club that is skint at this moment in time?

You're really not getting the point are you? The club had no choice but to play the game at 6.15pm.

My point about 6pm kick offs in the past was that 15k people didn't have an issue with it then so why would it be an issue now.

God help us if we do ever get back to SL as there will be at least 3-4 games on a Thursday evening that kick off at 8pm. Folk will literally implode!!!

You do realise that the RFL decided the game would kick off at 6.15 pm for the benefit of the Our League app?

Yes but a club local to ours refused to move the KO and the game wasn't chosen for OurLeague on the back of this.

Right well when the time comes for this division to try and secure it's own tv rights I hope that club gets told to do one when they come looking for their slice of the pie. Short sighted thinking at its worst.
