Apart from Wigan and St helens we have brought more junior players into super league than any other club in the last 5 years, we have an excellent academy that is producing some great young talent and we do all this on a budget despite having been at rock bottom many times over the last 40 years, and never having to cheat thesalry cap to do it. clubs like ours should be applauded for what we do and have done against all the odds but clearly were not worthy of being in the same league as the mighty wigan and leeds etc.....grow up
Before any Wigan supporter of today starts crowing about having a great fan base and the club will never descend to the level of Bradford Bulls, they should remember what happen to the club in the mid seventies when crowds slumped to as low as two/three thousand and the club was relegated.
Especially when today, there are far more alternative attractions at weekends and the sporting scene is dominated by Football, Rugby Union and Sky Sports on television.
Today, it is all about success and winning trophies and if you do not do that Wigan is no different than clubs like Bradford Bulls, Huddersfield Giants, Halifax, Widnes Vikings etc.
A few seasons ago, even Leeds slumped to all time low for crowds which was far worse than what they have experienced over the last two/three seasons.
No Wigan supported should take the arrogant or blazy attitude that the fan base would remain if club suffered the same fate as Bradford Bulls.
We have been fortunate since the bad days of the seventies in having owners with money who have maintained success at the club and hopefully it will remain so in the future.

How many league titles have your academy won in the last decade?

Agreed on the first bit but don't blacken all the Wigan posters on here. Most are very polite to posters from other clubs and don't gloat about their success unless provoked.
