I had the umpteen pints of Guinness to blame it on mind
I've done that. Train split at Bolton and I was on wrong carriage

This happened to me once luckily I got off in Bolton, had to get a taxi to Wigan like. Pity cause that Blackburn train was rocking!

I still say Sundays are best for rugby league games, home and away. Once you’re in a routine more fans will come. I hate Friday games when they’re not on Sky, I don’t see the point in them. People used to say there was no atmosphere on Sunday games, there’s no atmosphere on Friday games any more so that argument is null and void.
With Sunday games we get to use Robin Park as a way of entertaining fans and generating more money for the club and you can’t do it to the same effect on a Friday, you don’t have the time. How many here used to like watching the academy games as curtain raisers in years gone by? We haven’t been able to do that since 1999, now we can, just next door to the DW.
Whilst there’s a reserves/19s game on, there’s a band playing inside in the bar, there’s a kids section with Mighty Max and players doing little coaching sessions etc
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

What's that got to do with wrong trains? Get back on topic

Sunday Afternoon was always the best day when we played at Central Park, which unlike around "Whelans Folly", there were plenty of pubs and clubs which helped to create a proper pre match and match atmosphere.
