Knights Snatch A Win Against the Broncos
The tie of the fourth round of the Challenge Cup pitched the London Broncos against the York City Knights as to of the top sides in the Championship did battle for a place in the fifth round.
The Broncos had started the season with three straight wins whereas the Knights are pointless after two run outs losing to Leigh and Toulouse.
The Broncos were the favourites with the bookies but York's season needed to start somewhere, and why not against last seasons relegated side.

Talk about the one that got away !!!! Its not often a team scores more tries than the oppo and loses, still as much as I would have loved to be in the Cup, the Championship has to be the focus. Three unconverted tries and the cue was wrongly on the rack.
I'd love to know the prognosis is on Richards, Sid and Smith.
Plenty of positives to come out of the game; two new lads from the academy on debut (embarrassed to say I'd heard of neither) and OAB finally getting a run out. Rhys Curran was only on the pitch 40mins and won MoM, great signing. Papa looked sharp. Armitage. The ball movement out to the left was slick. Goal line defence was solid. We can see how bang average Meadows is.
Negatives, goal kicking when Kieran not playing; defence 10m out is woeful. Meadows. OAB looking nervous going into contact. Players standing watching bombs, sadly no Walker anymore.
Very enjoyable pre match hospitality.
I'll leave northernbloke to comment on the referee.

But, did make me smile the blokes sat next to me, despite the fact they were other end of the pitch, they obviously could see much better than the touch judge who was 15 metres from play.

The first quarter I was actually annoyed that I'd made the effort to go as it looked like being such a walkover. Ended being an enjoyable enough game though I thought it was more to do with our awful line defence
Thought Josh Hodson looked understandably nervous and made a couple of bad errors - the one where he lost the ball in the second tackle was awful. Saw him get first into the tackle a few times though - good to see he can get stuck in despite the slim frame
Pellisier's effort to dismantle of their defence was stunning.... When will Ou League have it up to watch on replay?

Shame about Richards but good news about Smith. Im guessing we wont be seeing anymore incomings, shame as I had hoped for 1 or 2 more. Think we may need it
