I'd normally say anyone v Saints, but it's annoying me that they're resting their captain whilst Saints are desperately trying to get Percival out on the field. I feel dirty for saying this, but Saints for the good of the competition.

Club rivalry will always exist, but sadly (and it's an English thing not a rugby thing) some take that into the International stage. Whilst I wouldn't cheer for St Helens if my life depended on it, I will get behind every one of them when they pull on an England shirt.
Maybe it's just me (& I'm not saying I'm right btw), but I just don't see the point in international RL. It doesn't interest me and I genuinely don't care about the results. Maybe it's because I'm a big union fan and would class England as 'my team' as I don't follow a club 15 side.
International RL just seems a bit fabricated and false to me. Wigan Vs Saints doesn't, nor does the Hull derby and Leeds Vs Bradford didn't either. I look at other sports that I don't watch and I only really tune in for the big rivalries - Liverpool Vs Utd, Rangers Vs Celtic, Federer vs Nadal, Steelers Vs Ravens etc. I can't ever see GB Vs NZ being in that bracket, so it's Vs Australia or nothing.

Big union fan myself but again, only at International level. It's the pinnacle of any sport but RL has been so badly managed since the 95 World Cup that it has just died a death. Add to that the fact the Aussies are so far up themselves that they have decided Origin is the pinnacle and the nails are well and truly driven in.
Tonga have been a breath of fresh air and hopefully carry it on. An England series win would help massively as well because that way the Aussies will want to play us again. If they hammer us then they'll walk away back to Origin.

No Coote or Grace (unless they’re having people on) and talk they’ll risk Percival, who’s shoulder is knackered and will be operated on after the game. Add in Roby having not played for months and it’s tough to see them winning.
I’ve got a feeling that Saints will win tonight They have a very good pack and may well surprise the Aussies

Yes, that's about where I stand. I hope to see a good contest. it would be bad news for SL if Saints got hammered. But they will have their hands full dealing with the likes of Tedesco, Tupou, and Manu.
I can’t see past Sydney to be honest tonight, and that’s not me being anti Saints either - truth be told I’d rather they win to shove it up the Aussies.
Whilst Saints were superb last season, Sydney were and are another level completely. It’ll take something pretty special for Saints to to the job tonight, which is possible but they’re reliant on so many things going their way.

The Roosters forwards dominated nearly every team in the NRL last season, Saints will need to be at their very best to have the upper hand against that pack, even without the services of Cordner.
