What it does say is "What would we have done without our new dual registration arrangements with Huddersfield and the ever-present Oliver Roberts who shone throughout all 80 gruelling minutes and who, in the nick of time from a superb Scott Murrell pass, crashed over to seal the victory for us in the dying seconds of the game. A well-deserved Man of the Match performance in my opinion."
He just questioned what would have happened in the Sheffield game without Roberts playing for us, given he scored the winning try at the death.
Without DR, we'd probably be 0 from 2 now.
I was quoting from the Sheffield programme. The point I am making is that the way the present board are taking us makes it less and less likely that we'll ever become self sustainable again. Feeder clubs are coming, some might say they are here already, and as bentleyman says the game is becoming unrecognisable from the one we once had. If you are happy with that fair enough. Personally I would break away from SL, take the Challenge Cup with us and let the 'elite' play with theirselves 5 or 6 times a season.
