What after one game, come on surley we aren't judging a playing that easily and to replace him with a player who has never played SL (I think that is right?) and isn't even contracted to the club is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard, even on here?
He was no where as bad as bad as people are making out.

I wasn't suggesting replacing him with Sanderson (I said I didn't know enough about Sanderson to comment). When the centre actively runs away from his winger, the winger is slow, out of position and struggles with a high ball I worry. The reserbes is there for players to prove themselves, not the first team (IMHO), Saints will target him. He looks like he needs a fair amount of conditioning to me. I hope he proves me wrong.

Good lad is Adam Swift, not really had much game time lately, apart from the occasional outings with Saints, it did show against the robins, but improvement will come, and with Buretta deciding to pull out, a very good replacement to have if Radders picks him, and I’m sure the lad will also want to ram it up his home town club for obvious reasons.

I wasn't impressed with him but often players raise their game against their former teams too. Im sure it will motivate him to put in a good performance against Makinson/Grace.
He went to Radders to say that he had a slight groin issue, that he could get through the game, but didn't want to let his team mates down so it was down to Radders, and he decided to put Swift in so that Bureta could rest

Cheers, reads a bit better than "decided to pull out". I hope Swift does raise his game, we will find out on Sunday.

FFS nobody has said we should definitely replace Swift with Sanderson I just put it out there as a possible option after a post by IR80 as its a forum which is supposed to be to discuss.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
