Yes because the Englishman was the only one with any brass!!

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Sorry but, he just said that he had some but, in actual fact, his pockets were empty, just like the other promises that he'd made :D

Cronus wrote:Not disputing that. But are you saying he wasn't communist and at times Leninist, Stalinist and a devotee of Marx? He was, as you should know.

I'm not sure why one conflates with the other, but ok.

The roots are a man with base communist ideals, even if he drifted from the Italian Communist Party. That much is reflected in much of the Ventotene Manifesto, clear for all to see. He was anti-fascist but also anti-pre-WW1 European aristocratic rule.

Besides, more relevant than bickering over the details of the roots of the EU, are where the EU and its member states will eventually end up. And that's what I disagree with.

Until the point you found yourself brainwashed by the 'progressive' EU agenda, probably yes.

Why would Wilzay know anything about me? He barely knows which end of his nose his face is at.

Your waffling again :D

Possibly you were waffling to Wilzay when you described your transition from small flat to two up two down in Leigh :D

Can’t be bothered digging your post out :D

So your not the wealthy Tory you big yourself up to be, just another little ten bob Tory wannabe , door to door salesperson type :D

Cronus wrote:Worked from home today old bean. You're weirdly obsessed with that. It's still work you know - although avoiding rush hour is a bonus, lunch is cheap and working in your underwear is never a bad thing. :)

I see you again fail to answer any questions. Never mind. At your age and so stuck in your ways I'm sure it's hard to think critically and understand things from another perspective. Stick with your mantra "all immigration is wonderful and anyone questioning mass immigration are racists/xenophones/little Adolphs/fascists" (delete as appropriate - or keep them all. Might as well, that's what you lot sound like).

A bit more insight from you there regards your “work”, but I suppose sitting in your Y-fronts , in front of your PC, on the dodgy cam to cam websites does help draw your clientele in, :D

And I see you have added ageism to your growing list of attributes lol.

Why, did it have Polish bar staff?

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

Unfortunately the pub was far from complete. Boris the landlord swears that it's been complete since the end of January. However, hes recently changed his beer & spirits supplier and no contracts are yet in place with the new one - who has only ever made a few pints of home brew.

silver2 wrote:Now that the mist of bullshit is starting to clear away, is there anyone on here that believes we're going to be financially better off as a result of brexit? If so, what makes you think that way, and what caveats, if any, are attached to that belief?

There's one thing I can guarantee. Just as the left are accused of saying "Socialism has never worked because it's never been done properly", the Brexit diehards on the right, if not happy by this time next year, will be saying "Brexit could have worked, it just wasn't done properly", despite the fact there are a multitude of outcomes on every shade of the political spectrum. Looking at the extreme ends of the spectrum, I don't see how the same vehicle can be used to achieve a socialist utopia or a capitalist Singapore-on-Thames.
