What can't be doubted with Bienik is his size and power, which sadly others lack.
Fully agree he has disappointed but has been hampered with injuries, I gather the concern is more with his stamina ?
Remember the scrabble for his signature & Phil Clarke hailing him as the next big thing ? Personally can't see him NOT being in the top 25 earners, he appeared a fair bit in the first team two years ago.
Just hope we don't give up on him too soon, sure the coaching staff will share that sentiment & will be doing all in their power to get the best out of him. Still think we are a prop short, if he starts the season well at Leigh then surely he could be recalled ?

With Bienek I think people forget he is still only 21. Also you need to factor in he isn't a northern lad who has grown up in and around the RL world like others such as Brad Fash & Jack Brown etc. He's also moved away from home at a young age too which will all be a factor in his development plus he has struggled a bit with niggling injuries.
I do think the club feel and believe that he can develop in to a very good player and as al283 said he does possess size and power.
Way too early to write the kid off and think the loan deal at Leigh will be more than beneficial in his development getting regular game time at that level as opposed to reserve team.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Lets hope his on field performances determine that he gets regular gametime. The advantage for him this time is that he has a young teammate with him who will also be looking to get regular game time so they should be able to push each other. Hope it works out for both of them but they both have to realise that they are a minimum of two years away from realistically making a Hull fc first team squad

Just seen Bienek is injured once again so he cant play in the Leigh/Wigan pre season game tonight
Can't believe some think Brown ahead of Bienek, sure he has good hands and looks a prospect - but again he is small.
Many young players show up well when first appearing, but guess what 4 or 5 games in, the rest of SL has had a look and decided the honeymoon is over and you're going to be tested. That is when many plateau, often before disappearing - a pattern that is repeated throughout the game, lets face it being a SL forward playing 50+ minutes every week requires incredible fitness, strength, stamina & huge chunks of determination. We shouldn't be surprised how difficult it is to truly 'make the grade' for these young guys.

Dont know what to make of Bienek other than he seems injury prone. He was in and out of the team when at Batley and never stood out when he did play which was usually off the bench. Hope he makes it but have my doubts
