He's 25, he isn't going to be playing for Saints much I don't think.

And Bentley was at Saints in 2018 where he barely played but spent time out on loan. That was my point. You can't necessarily judge by the first season for the "project" type of signing. Although I'll give you the age may be a factor.

I think a forward is more of a priority. I'd imagine someone like Wynne or Buchanan at Hull would cover centre.

Surely players from Hull could cover positions in the forward just as much as they can at centre.

Id argue that given only have 1 centre in the entire squad its more a priority than any other position at the min.

However i do take you point regarding the pack. Lets be honest we need extra bodies all over the park

I'm told its an initial year long loan with a view to making it permenant at the end of the season (like the Evans transfer).

There must be a reason/benefits for this being the prefered way of doing business as its happened loads over the last 12-18months.
