Looking forward to this one, perhaps not the hill up to the ground though. Looking likely to be a strong team - perhaps the starting 13 will reveal Radford's initial plans. With the youngsters more likely to play in the hull kr friendly we should see decent game time for a lot of the major players. Batlev by all accounts are in a bit of disarray at the moment and lost to hunslet at the weekend.

Radders also said that some first team players will play for the Reserves against HKR so, don't know if the Batley game will see all of the 1st team play

id like to see strong side in both games (ideally 1st 17) so we can get off to a good start in the season and bring on reserves for 2nd half of the friendly's.

Way to negative for me that, I'd rather our first 17 have some serious minutes under they belts before the Leeds game, what's to say we wont get 3 or 4 injuries in the Leeds game to first team players from been under cooked, Leeds got plenty of good minutes into first team players Sunday, I'd prefer a few weeks of that, regardless the risk to injury. Its a tough game, always going to be injuries, its how we have dealt with them that's been the problem

I'm hoping we name a smaller squad for this game, around 20/21. Play as close to Radfords preferred 1st team as he can for the first 30/40 mins, then play about with some different combos in the second half.
If fit, Swift will come into the starting 13 against Leeds and i reckon Bowden is good for a bench spot. Hopefully they can both get a run our against Rovers next week.

Looking forward to the game
Sanderson looking very sharp in the pre season games. He is out of contract but still a decent full back in my opinion. With Myers likely to be signed i think Sandeson will move on
