Batley rumoured. Hull KR are partnered with Dewsbury.
I just struggle to see how losing a contracted experienced proven player is brilliant business. These young kids might well be great players one day but the Championship is a tough league. Perhaps if the wage saving will be made available to Kear it might be better business. But it all just feels a bit familiar to me of releasing higher profile players once the season ticket sales peaked. Call me cynical...

There is also a clause in his contract if a SL team comes in for him he can go. Maybe we had no choice? After all if it’s in his contract it’s clear cut

Perhaps, in which case you'd think they would be talking of making funds freed up available to JK if it wasn't just more cost cutting once enough had parted with their money.

Sounds like we don’t have a pot to pss in, if we are getting rid of out top earners then I would assume the next one to go will be jk, I feel so sorry for the people who have purchased season tickets thinking humpty dumpty can be put together again, fear it’s more like faulty towers

Whilst I’m sure we aren’t awash with cash if he has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave we could be the richest club in the world and he could still leave. There is nothing to suggest anything else at the moment

So these players from Leeds that have been rumoured to be joining for months wouldn't have joined if this deal hadn't happened? Or has it just been sold to look like we are getting something when really we were already getting some loan deals regardless? In any case we are still woefully lacking experience..

How it was explained to me this morning was that Rhys has a clause in his contract that should a Super League club make him an offer he can activate that clause in his contract.
Obviously, Rhys has a close relationship with Richard Agar from their Warrington days, so it's a no brainer for him to take this opportunity which initially is a year loan with the option to join Leeds permanently IF such a move benefits both parties.
