Not sure how much money we will be getting. Official statement says he has gone on season long loan

Well if we just intend on filling the squad with other clubs young players and loans of players we have flogged then it isn't enticing me to many games I'll be honest.

I know! I can’t understand why JK is raiding that pool of well established championship players, all available without clubs and within our budget of £1.50 per match plus a packet of crisps for each win bonus

On the Rhinos forum ,one fan has suggested that the loan players might be Walters , Johnson ( a young hooker England Academy) Holroyd ( young 18 stone prop) and possibly Mustapha ( young back row). The latter depends on Leeds securing an overseas signing
To me that would look good business if the loans are long term.

Thought the Bulls had announced it was 2 young Leeds players not 4? Given the already youthful squad I don't see any great benefit in letting an experienced player leave to bring in more young players from other clubs. I'd personally rather just give our own a chance if that's where we are at. Obviously some fans will happily pay 20 odd quid to watch anyone in a Bulls shirt and that's their choice. I can't say it's convincing me right now though.

Ok, but will the prices reflect that? Or are the long suffering fans expected to cough up top 4 prices again to watch us develop players for other clubs? At least when they're our players we can flog them to pay the bills!!

IMO this season is a needs must scenario. We can’t recruit as we were too late to the party and we can’t afford to get relegated. We need a team on the pitch that stays up and then we need Sawyer to balance the books and hopefully we then have a bit more money and then the time to recruit properly for 2021 hopefully back in Bradford

Not surprising news though, we are getting used to seeing experienced players flogged once the bulk of season tickets sales are in.

Aren't dual reg and loan players treated differently? Report out just before Christmas said we're closing in on a dual reg deal with Hull FC.

Not massively. You're allowed 5 Loan & Dual Reg players in each 17, only 4 of which can be DR. So you can have 5 Loan or 4 DR & 1 Loan, but you can't have 5 DR. The maximum combined is still 5 though, so if you throw two Leeds loan players in with Rooks & Milnes, that only leaves 1 spot available for a DR player.

Thanks for clearing that up for me! Also since seen that Hull FC might be DR with Dewsbury anyway, although the source is our in house commentator.
