He did ok for us last season before getting some almost inevitable bad injuries. His record isn't great over the last few seasons in that regard.
I'm surprised you didn't go for Ross Oakes instead tbh. He's younger and a far better centre than Evans.

Evans is a good player.

Doesn't exactly feel great that we are effectively being 'used' as a means of boosting another team by giving them one of the few experienced players left, whilst providing experience for their young prospects who we won't then get any benefit from

I'm still in the air about buying a ST, and the reasons you mention above are probably why I haven't committed yet.

For 2020, replacing experience with 'loan' youngsters has 2017 (and week in, week out thrashings) written all over it. And I'm not doing that again.

Can't blame Evans for going like, but we absolutely are just a feeder team now, and that is really, really sad.

I feel this is good business for the Bulls. Injury prone player and one of the highest earners. Some people need to realise we need to become stable and if that means selling good players and loaning youngsters, that’s fine with me.

If we’ve got a five figure fee plus 4 players and assuming Evans will have wanted to go when Rhinos come calling I think it’s a good deal. Let’s remember the Rhinos academy is pretty good and I think Holroyd was mentioned as on a par with Oliver Wilson wasn’t he? And whilst I don’t know this how do we know Leeds didn’t say we want Evans or the much rumoured loan of players from Leeds wouldn’t happen?

So we take a load of Leeds youngsters on loan, doesn't they basically prevent us on doing much in terms of dual reg, or at least make us pretty unattractive to a dual reg partner since we can only play 4 or 5 anyway?

Not surprising news though, we are getting used to seeing experienced players flogged once the bulk of season tickets sales are in.
