The Broncos are a million miles from being recognisable nationwide on tv however building a shirt identity that at the very least London people will start to recognise has to be the way forward therefore the Black with White/red chevron is unlikely to change year on year. Away shirts can pay homage to seasons gone by and summer bash/magic shirts will give those who like a different shirt what they want.
The club makes next to nothing from merchandise and hopefully the focus for those who don't want to buy a similar shirt year on year will become the training range, a jacket, or the away shirt.
It's one small part of the clubs focus on building a fan base from pretty much the lowest point it's been at. People in Ealing are starting to take notice and hopefully soon the crowds will be reflecting that.
While i agree with you brand recognition is the way ahead, just not Black with red/white chevron. It wasnt an easy shirt to wear in 1980 despite all the headlines we made that season. Sadly mine shrank so much i only got a couple of seasons wear out of it. But i did wear it both to Fulham FC & RL matches. Or maybe i just got too fat.
I just think the brightness of the red/blue/yellow quarters would be far more marketable. Quins have shown over the last 150 years that quarters can be tweaked without losing brand recognition.
Don't have a problem with the heritage shirt, we had it in 2000 & 2010 so fair enough 2020 & 2030 if we are still in existence although i might not get to see it. But & its a big but, it is a Fulham shirt not a London Broncos shirt.
As for the other merchandise, i love my polo shirt from last season but less impressed with this season's effort.
