Sometimes difficult to differentiate between a terrorist sympathiser and a freedom fighter. Thatcher made that mistake with Nelson Mandela.
Chances of a left leaning government in the UK in the next decade are remote following today but one will eventually emerge, just as night follows day.

Left leaning yes - Corbyns Marxist hybrid no. And that was the real problem for Labour.

I read all the political stuff on social media regarding my home town and peoples views, I am reading more and more anti Labour than pro Labour.
Alas though, people will moan about Labours lack of representation in Leigh, but will still vote for them.
And you are right about sticking a red rosette on a turd.
Well it looks as though they even forgot to stick it on the turd
Shocking night all round for Labour - the only positive is that Corbyn will go, but it will take them many years to recover from this
Looking at some of the red to blue seats, it seems the fabled 'Workington Man' really does exist. Let's hope they get what they think they're going to get, because the backlash will be quite a thing to witness if he becomes Out-of-Work-ington Man. Who knows where the blame will be directed in that scenario!
"Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him."
A terrible night for Labour, just like the horrendous campaign by Michael Foot in the late 70's. Corbyn needs to go and Labour have to re engage with the centre left of the electorate.
% years to make a new plan as I think that Boris will be looking to stick to the fixed term for this parliamentary session.
Will Scotland and N. Ireland still be part of the Union when the next GE comes around
I look forward to welcoming as many dumb Northern class traitors to Trailfinders next season - assuming you can still afford the fare and entrance money after Boris and co have done you over! Happy Christmas you dumb bigots, From a Cockney ( unreconstructed) leftie

Out of Workington Man will have NO ONE but himself to blame, the dumb bigoted sod! You can't trust a Tory, you most certainly can't trust Boris.

Wes Streeting say everything about what is wrong with Labour.
I know all you hard lefties on here think Corbyn/Momentum/McClusky are where our politics should be and these guys actually care about the ordinary man - they don't even care about the ordinary members of the Labour party. Complete bunch of sh1thouses who have got exactly what they have deserved.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
