Who are our other props? We've been desperately short in that position for years. As for Keegan I've never rated him but the way some Fax fans are going on you would think he's the new Karl Harrison. That I think shows the level to which we've become accustomed over the last few seasons. Just because Fax signed him dosen't make him the answer to our forward power or lack of it. Really, what did he add to the team in the games he played for us at the back end of last season?

Id class Kavanagh, Fleming, and sometime Fairbank as our props. Now obviously Fairbank is a machine and a cut above those but the other 2 added very little for me over the full season where at least Hirst knows how to win a tackle which actually saw us find a bit of go forward which was lacking throughout the season. The heart of the pack was ripped out when we lost Grady and Grix about the same time and other than Fairbank we offered very little up front and got bullied by any team with a half decent pack. Hirst alone is not going to be the answer but individually I would take him over Kav, Fleming, and Tangata every day of the week.

Happy we didnt sign him. But disappointing we spent our time and resources to get him up to speed, for Bulls to then sign him.
Far too many negatives for him to be worth the risk though- Drugs ban, not played for 4 years, always had issues with his fitness and certainly his discipline

Jacob would be one of the 1st names on the team sheet for me though not at 8 or 10. Kavanagh was disappointing although I did think he improved towards the end of the season. Fleming, like Hirst, not aggressive enough to get us on the front foot. P.S. How come I've been barred from the bulls forum and you are still there? Lol!

I guess its probably because I don't hate Bradford.

Personally I trust Simon Grix. Seems like Sam still needed a lot of work before he was up to standard. Bradford have decided to take that on with a contract. We weren't. Can't blame Sam for going also. I would rather see us get the likes of Sion Jones fit and going again. As for the other props hopefully the addition of Keal Carlisle will help take them forward..
