I wonder if I'm "sane and sensible" or "off the wall". Actually don't answer that. I'm as cynical as anyone but it's a positive step openly answering the questions and concerns of the supporters. I agree that's a very modest season ticket total to budget for. But I suppose it's better to have an unexpected amount of income coming your way by budgeting low rather than the opposite.

My question is there, uncensored, about returning my ST after the squad being decimated - they published the question and answer in full

Budgeting for 1000 STs is at least pragmatic. It's nice to know they don't have delusional expectations of the support for next season.

However, I remember Chalmers taking the pragmatic approach in his communications with fans when he first took over and we all know where that ended up.

Yep I've spotted a few of the responses to mine too although not some of the questions (I asked if the bright spark who came up with the idea had scored an own goal following the initial negative response).

I also asked them to be public in their support for a full and transparent independent investigation into the past 7yrs since Odsal was sold.

Not me however asking about Scrambled Egg. Wonder if the originator will come forward?

On a side note, did anyone read Kear's comments in today's T&A. In it he's quoted as saying the fans understand where we are at.

Is he being really serious with that comment as I think he has totally misread the situation. Going by the clubs own ST sales figures we look likely to have lost around 60% of last years members. I think that goes to show that many don't agree as we simply don't know where we are at.

I have to admit I wasnt going to commit to a ST until I started to see this start to unravel (far too murky for my liking) but even I started to sway when the last two new signings were announced.

Right now I don't have a clue whether I will commit or not. I'm more inclined to only go to away games as that way I can still follow the team and get my rugby fix, but at least I know my money isn't going to an ownership group comprising of god knows who!!!

It would be hard to determine one way or the other as to whether the drop in ST is due to change of ground or owners. Probably a mix of both)

My question and reply isn't there. Maybe once they had got rid of all the swear words and corrected my appalling grammar they couldn't be bothered anymore.

I think a certain amount of credit has to be given for the club not massaging the season ticket sales figures. Its only a few weeks ago certain "journalists ""were posting around 1200 had been sold.

With respect I don't get that last sentence about away games.
Ok, don't buy a ST until we know what is going on but to watch the team that Kear builds and only give money to other clubs bank account - not for me.
Why not go to the home games as pay on the gate and if the club lets you down then stop but if they do turn out to be genuine then you have done your bit to help.
