Very pleased with the signature just add a few back rowers as really there's only Farrell who is a regular SR n quality DR n we look ok.

Not great but not as bad as I thought it was when you consider there will be games in there he simply wasn't selected rather than being injured.

It's a concern for me, but I think it's a gamble worth taking given he brings things that the squad was definitely missing.

When fit he was a first choice pick, he’s been a very good player for Wakey, you’ll not find many fans with a bad thing to say about him. But recently he has started missing more games due to various injuries, seemed to regularly be a case of play one, go off inured in one, miss one. And his game time in the ones he plays has noticeably reduced in the the last couple of seasons. Dropping down a level might enable him to manage his body better and mean you get the best out of him. If you can keep him on the field he’ll do a very good job for you.

A very good signing for us. Could Keinhorst be the next one? According to League Express a Championship side is in for him. If we can afford him he would be a good addition as we look a little light in the centres with just Oakes and Brown. That would maybe free Oakes to play second row.

I read an article on the BBC that actually quoted his age as 45. How did they find that out when even Stanley himself didn't know?

I remember Stanley being asked when he was born and he replied "In Summer"

We've got Evans as well.

Definitely! I think a backline of

1. Brown
2. Johnson
3. Evans
4. Keinhorst
5. DFJ

Would give us some threat. Genuinely think Brown has more to offer at 1 than pickersgill
