Which is odd considering they already have Gelling, King, Brand and Burrell as Centre options, along with likes of Jack Hughes who are fairly comfortable there. Unless they're planning on playing him elsewhere, I can't see Keinhorst getting much game time at Wire.

Sorry.I ve just re read the piece I was reading and I've misunderstood. Just to be clear Keinhorst is not in talks with Wire and furthermore he would be a great signing for us.

Wallis has gone to York, so that only leaves Keinhorst as openly available. I suspect the main reason they want him to go though is that he's likely on better money than he's worth (to tempt him in the first place) and they'd like some of those wages off their salary cap. Which I would think would largely rule out the Bulls.

I would expect the other KR player that's coming on loan to be a different fringe player. Maybe someone like Harry Bardle, Adam Rooks or a longer shot of Owen Harrison.

With Keinhorst it could be that KR are willing to cover some of his wages to get him out of the club.

Don't know much on the other players what positions do they play?

Bardle & Harrison are props, Rooks a back row.

I'd love Keinhorst at the Bulls, but only as a 'willing participant'.

Over the years we've had a few who made it abundantly clear they couldn't care less ( the latest being Krasniqi last season) so if he's determined to prove a point, like Jordan Lilley, then he'll be more than welcome, but if he's sulking about it then no.

agreed Bc, we don't want to be swapping a bunch of players that wanted to play for us and showed it on the field for a bunch of don't give a t@ssers. I still believe that we need a good solid core of our lads in the team, and so the commitment to the academy and reserves despite the cost should eventually pay off down the line. and that's where the money should go rather than the black hole. We are still going to need to sell players (the new term is asset stripping for you budding business typhoons out there), but that's no problem longer term if they keep coming through.

£/$ I'd imagine. I thought Fev looked a far more dangerous team last season with Connor Jones at 9 so wasn't that surprised when someone came calling for him and not King.

Quite worrying really. I know folk will say there's months till the start of the season, but unless we are going to announce 10 signings tomorrow then my guess is that the rest of the squad will be straggled up to the first week of the season, meaning 50% of any future signings might not have had a pre season and come in unfit or undercooked.

First 17 clearly needs strength adding to it. And we could do with 6 or so players with 75+ first team games in reserve. There's barely 30 games between numbers 20-30. It's great to see they're coming through but now isn't the time to be relying on them. As we saw a few seasons back, in the championship they'll end up getting banged for the whole season. It doesn't do them any good in the long run.
