That's just a cliche. We have lost a few derbys recently, but then we have lost to nearly everyone recently. On the whole, over the past 4 or 5 years, Rovers have been pretty much our easiest opponents. We have had a lot of very comfortable wins.
You never know what you are going to get on game day and we all know that things often don't go to script. They could very easily beat us. Just like we could easily beat Saints and Wigan. But the fact is they are one of the weakest sides in SL and as such, one of the easiest fixtures is playing them at home. I'm not quite sure why you always insist on mentioning things like the "Revolution." I could start claiming that I am going to knock out Anthony Joshua. It doesn't make it true.
The 2 days turnaround is a valid point but probably doesn't mean so much so early in the season as it would during July when squads are really starting to get banged up.
I don't think it will be an easy game. I don't think there will be such a thing next year. But I would rather be playing them than pretty much anyone else, put it that way.
