I think Rule did a lot of offers in those days which of course didn't always go down too well with passholders.
2010 was similar to 2020 in that we'd signed Long, O'Meley and Fitzgibbon and a few others and there was a lot of hype. Rule was good at Marketing but that was his only decent skill in my eyes.
Great news on the passes sold, not sure we will hit 10k but 9k would be brilliant and would mean we should be getting 12k+ everygame when you add pay on the day fans and away fans in.
