Where did you hear the news? He was a much traveled player and only managed 5 games for us.

Sorry mate but i did ask you where you heard about his passing! I remember him playing for us your probably to young, i tried to tell you he played for alot of clubs in his time, even dropping into the amiteur game for a while, always gave his all for who ever he played for.

I met Hugh Waddell at one of the Lions Luncheons. A really popular guy with the other players and quite humble too.

Played for Great Britain when they beat Australia in 88 and not many can say they did that.
Won Yorkshire Cup with Leeds too.

Sad news.
