Pedantry trap!
Like outmoded nepotism?

Think we might see Radfords contract exteneded tonight. The last line from the above link is 'There may also be a little bit of big news to be revealed at the event too…'
Unless they are are announcing Cator/another backroom coach but that seems a bit anti climactic

Griffin “Having seen his side fall away at the backend of the 2019 season, missing out on a play-off place on the last day, Griffin feels FC lacked the mindset of a big club and that’s something they can’t afford not to have in 2020, particularly with the quality of the squad“

Quite alarming
Not really, something we notice when we attend games. Top sides are ruthless, consistent. We seem to get above our station if we win a few games on the trot, or we think we can win a game by playing a solid 20 minutes

Only FC fans and possibly some players see them as a big club. The article about Griffin and his opinion really made me chuckle. I know players are expected to bull up their team in these circumstances but that was really going over the top. It’s that attitude that results in everyone having false expectations.

Isn't it the same with all teams, every year we hear things from Rovers aboutl about how well you will do and every year its pretty much the same end result.
The media hype from Rovers have massively been over the top in the off season,. Although I cant blame them, the best part of the year for Rovers fans is October to January.

I agree all teams’ players and fans do it. However to claim the pressure on the players at FC is greater than at any other club is clearly delusional. I suppose seeing things like that in the media encourages FC fans to think the same way.
I notice that although your put your point of view quite reasonably you cannot resist the need to get that dig in at the end that has nothing to do with my original post. I hope including the last sentence made you feel better.

Why is one players opinion delusional?
“I feel like it’s definitely the most I’ve seen in terms of external pressure."
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
