Im pretty sure I know the answer. CAn you imagine January football transfer window and you sell your best player and then ask for money back. Comes with the territory I’m afraid

And I can't stand any more of it.
I also have serious doubts if we won't slump into the admin mire yet again, but frankly I no longer care. The club I cared about has died, and should just be closed down and put out of its misery, instead of this death by a thousand cuts.

And that's it. Thanks for the conversations guys, it has been good.
Such a shame, but totally understandable. I suspect a lot of us are on a similar path, its just a question of how far along. My Grandad put his money in to help reform the club back in the 60's, he passed away in 2007, with his beloved rugby club champions of the world. With hindsight now Im really grateful that was how his journey with the club ended. My dad wont be able to get to dewsbury every other week and I will watch from a distance what transpires over the winter, but as Ive said before this offseason could be it for me too. Its sad that generations of support might be coming to an end, I'll make a call closer to next season, but I completely understand your point of view FA. Its been good reading your posts on here, you'll be missed. ta ra lad.
Sorry to see you go FA, enjoyed reading your posts over the years. Today is indeed a dark day.
Bought a season ticket already so will be going next season but it’s another tough period to be a Bulls supporter that’s for sure.
I’m clinging on to the fact that if anyone can get a hard working solid team together on a budget and make them competitive in the championship it is John Kear.

You have reached the position I was at during league 1. The Bulls died for me 2 years ago and guess what? The latest debacle doesn’t bother me one iota. For 47 years 4 of us went home and away bought the shirts and generally had a good time. We were there when Wigan stuffed us. I went to Wembley with the my team the u19’s Northern colts and saw Kel Earl make a d@ck of himself but where we are now is not the Bradford I know that club has gone. Believe me FA you will be amazed how quickly you get out of the habit... _______________________________________________________________________________________________
Aye I think it's becoming pretty obvious that some of the longest standing fans who've put a lot of time, effort and money into the club over a lot of years have just had enough now.
I've been out for the last 2 years, and the idea that Chalmers may be going and a new regime taking over peaked my interest a little. Not loads as I've been burned too many times in the last 10+ years, but just a little. But I've yet to see anything that is holding me and so far everything I've seen just tells me to stay out.
One of the strangest things I've found myself contemplating is my upcoming family. I have a son on the way in the new year. If you'd have asked me 10 years ago if I'd be taking him to the Bulls, I would have laughed at you as a total no brainer. Now I find myself thinking I don't want to put him through this crap when he's too young to understand why it's all going tits up, and I think I'd rather, when he's old enough, that he go with his mum to Headingley. Which, going back those 10 years, is something I'd have slapped myself for even suggesting back then.

Things really are rock bottom then when you'd rather send your unborn child to Headingley.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands.

I am struggling with supporting the club this year, i have traveled to every magic/bash and stayed the whole weekend with my sons only to watch the team win one match. we have brought a shirt nearly every year when they have been replaced, i have brought season tickets nearly every year, however, this debacle is probably one joke too far for me. I am sick of hearing "stick with us, the fans need to continue to support the club". We must be the laughing stock of every club in RL and the source for good cheap players when things like this happen. Maybe its time to turn the light out
