Reporting to have received £100k for that deal... to pay off creditors...

It won't help the team in any way

20K per player. Bargain.

Heart/head/heart/head

Head - Well, if we believe what we've been told at the fans forum & by the more reliable journos out there - we haven't spent any of our increased central funding that we start to receive from next month, our expenditure on the stadium has gone, Chalmers has written off what he was owed (was that included or excluded in the 2 debt figures quoted I wonder - maybe that's why there are 2 figures?), there's a new sponsor on board and we've just received a decent 6 figure sum for 5 players. At this rate we may be debt free by Easter and can actively plan to attack the championship in 2021!

Heart. FFS. What a crock.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.

At least for a change the creditors are getting paid. That's a new one for this time of year. It's fairly standard for the Bulls to be shafted around this time, but at least other companies aren't getting stictched up too.

The person to blame in all this is the one who's racked up all the debts in the first place. My worry still remains that the rumours of Nigel Wood being involved from the start of Chalmers' regime are true (and I have no reason to doubt those considering they've been hanging around like bad smell for nearly 3 years), and that means nothing is really going to change and we'll be back here again in 2-3 years.

The views in this post are mine and mine alone. Unless stated otherwise, they do not reflect the views of any company or entity I am associated with.

When a club comes in with a bit of cash in exchange for a number of players we never really stood a chance. It looks a good opportunity for those players but I doubt they will get much of a look in for a side facing relegation next season so I’m not sure it’s best for them long term but time will tell.

Don't remember their fans being taken for idiots year after year after year..........

At least they can always DR to Dewsbury. Now who is their owner/chairman?
