Heard at the weekend that Keighley are after Webster.it came from a realible source.they are looking for a ''marquee signing'' and like Widnes can probably offer full time by linking it to a community role.Webster and Lovegrove are friends from their HKR days.
We may be behind on recruitment but if the rumours are true about Fax having to offload players then we'll be well placed to take a few, as many of our championship rivals will already have a full playing rosta.

Add this along with us being "topped up" with the right calibre of player to be challenging at the top end of the table via our new duel reg agreement and I think we will be just fine next year.

Oh by the time you come out of special measures you will certainly be in the market for players but I would probably set your sights lower than these imaginary Fax players we are trying to offload. I'd be more worried that you are trying to offload some of your contracted players for next year. I mean who is going to be willing to pay a fee for a player who could be a free agent very shortly anyway?

I would love to take a Halifax-esque view of pure joy at the misfortune of someone elses team about this should it be true. But I just can't.
