Sammut may be being released from Wigan. I realise he's not top drawer in terms of HB, but at least that is his dedicated position rather than us trying to 'manufacture one' in NH words.

The problem that I see with this is that he's cackamallababshit.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Still need at least 1 hb and 2 props (aswell as Parcell and Minikin) and the squad will be pretty decent, not a play off challenging squad but hopefully a younger hungrier one

What is he classed as, overseas wise, these days?
Rumor Mill stating Sammut may end up in Championship as all Super League clubs searching for a half back are all in negotiations with others?

My point being that Salford would be classed as cheap and available yet look how they played and where they finished. If Smith can get us playing like that ill certainly be happy
Striking that only six of the 32 are expected to be with Rovers at the start of 2020. Quinlan, Masoe, Lawler, Mulhern, Oakes and Dagger. When you think also of those that have come and gone since, like Vaivai, Drinkwater, Tomkins and maybe Lannon, Minns going, returning and going again, plus the loan deals, the turnover has been pretty remarkable, even for a promoted club.
Slightly OT, I had a look at the 2018 squad list earlier...
