i just found it a bit disapointing considering he's thought of quite highly(so i'm told) by some of the management/coaching staff, has been training with the first team over the last year or so.

I would have expected (i may be completely wrong) him to be trying to join in on the journey etc, we saw jack johnson at wembley who supposedly is no longer here, Thewlis, dean and ellis robson all present as well.

Ellis robson was in the midst of his loan at widnes during the semi at bolton and was still on the sidelines in his wire tracksuit.
